  1. Hardy is part of the problem but not in a way you might think. His part of this problem is he should bench (or insist DA trades) at least 1 of the overlapping guards we have on the roster, but he insteads tries to play them all.

But the main issue is having 5 slasher guards who are not legit shooting threats and who all need the ball in their hands to be valuable. Keyonte and Clarkson have a quick trigger but neither one shoots at high efficiency (yet at least) while Sexton and Dunn are slow/reluctant shooters and THT is just a bad shooter. Most of all, none of them play great support offense without the ball.

Our front court doesnt get the ball enough right now and when they do they are not in best positions. Entry passes are either missing or horrible. Kickouts likewise. If we have to play the ball to Lauri on the perimeter while his defender is on him, then why do we have those guards in the first place?

Defense has been bad as well but it suffers from that same issue. The roster balance is poor and Hardy has thrown in some confusing zone schemes to sort of hide the funky rotation group.

  2. We should not panic after 3 games, the team and hardy needs time in the rebuilt. I agree that there are too many guards. We have to trade 2 of them.

  3. You are right that Jazz don't give the ball to Lauri enough. Let's look through the season and see if Lauri can be the number 1 in a championship team. Lauri can still develop. Lauri is done with the service. Brickley could help him.
