[Charania] Kings All-Star De’Aaron Fox has avoided significant injury, but has sustained a moderate sprain of his right ankle and he is likely to miss some time, sources tell me and @sam_amick. Fox played through the sprain down stretch of 37 points and victory over Lakers on Sunday.

Respect for coming back to beat the Lakers

  3. SpiritedSuccess5675

    Speedy recovery 🙏

    Glad he is ok

The kings have crazy depth so they can replace Fox adequately but this still hurts

Hope they can hold the fort while he’s gone

The people clamoring about our injury luck finally got what they wanted smh 😭

Who’s gonna start over him now, out of curiosity

  7. DaRandomBro

My guess is he’s out our next three games. Rest up De’Aaron.

I know a shooting guard whose name rhymes with sack ravine that may be available to hold down the fort for them

Two Rocket games 1 Blazer game soonish, very winnable without him.

Fox is easily one of my fav young non laker players. Glad it’s not more serious. He’s a dog.

  16. bo0bsagett

Maybe Davion can remember how to play

AD a true sportsman. He said if the best player on the Kings isn’t gonna play in the last minutes of OT, neither am I!! 🫡🫡

    That’s genuinely too bad.

Fox is a bad MFer, a treat to see him run downhill and score huge buckets and I am a warriors fan.

We’ll find out if the kings can overcome injuries this year after having the the best injury luck last year

  20. JunkScientist

Playing through injury is great and tough and all that, but also so so stupid. He is central to the success of that team. They are a young talented contender this year. Risking significant injury to beat the Lakers in October is not worth it. This dude is way too important.

Not acceptable. I’m not too far from the NBA’s offices right now, I’ll head down there and sort this out with Adam. We’ll get him a new ankle or whatever he needs.
