This is not Morey's final move. We'll just have to see what Morey does with his assets. Pass on Green. We already have 40% shooters in Hauser, PP, and Svi. Al should also improve. It's just a 3 game sample. Let's see how the bench sort their issues.

We were not concerned with them having Harden so neither should we be concerned with him gone. Covington, Batum, Morris and Martin are not likely going to move the needle for them.
Watch the 6rs trade or release some of these guys that came from the Clippers and put a package of picks plus Harris to go get a combo of either, Brogdon and Jerami Grant and OG Anunobi. Or OG, Pascal, and Brogdon. They might even go all the way out and attempt to also acquire Donavan Mitchell in addition to all of these other guys mentioned above

Yes please, give Svi some quality minutes. He's far superior offensively than Hauser. He has some hops too. Neither are great defensively, but Svi can create his own shot!
Basketball is basketball. Rosters don't win games. Miami didn't have a better roster than us and went to the finals. Philly still has Embiid with Maxey and Harris. Harris is still an all star player who will have a bigger role with Harden gone. Now they just brought in 3 big wing defenders. Phill is just as dangerous as they were last year.

I would love to discard the Washington game as them being terrible, but this is a team that had a losing record or close to it (at least it felt like it) against .500 and under teams last year, who almost got swept by an 8 seed.
You can rationalize it any way you want with injuries or Butler going off after Grant engaged him… whatever.
But the fact remains this team did this things, so taking Washington or anyone else for granted is a mistake.
How many times last year did Boston lose to the "worst team in the east or league" by record? Or barely beat them?
I'm taking no game for granted, because it's not about the other team, it's about this team.
And consistency and results matter. Excuses don't.
