This response displays how much more cultured and low ego Europeans are compared to Americans. He travels, speaks languages.
Humblest Frenchman I haf seen.
This game would be a good answer for his ‘Welcome to the NBA moment’
Holy shit I think I have that same towel
Man, he doesn’t have that heavy French accent. He sounds like American.
Another European development W.
Caption? For a fellow deaf person here. Thanks
his maturity and self awareness are what will give give him a real chance at being in the goat conversation.
Imagine if guys like Zion or Ja had this level of humility.
Jesus Christ…the fucking Spurs may have another all time great…fuck me.
If this kid stays healthy he’s going to be absolutely incredible.
I am blown away by his maturity at his age
He’s becoming self-aware. God help us all.
NBA Rookie learns that he is not at the level of one of the all time greats and gets applause for it smh
He would be the GOAT if he didn’t sound french
I’m 44 and feel like this kid is already more mature than me
This fucker is treat to the league
Wemby is the man. So excited for him and Chet. I wish my Raptors would embrace a true rebuild because our play style is dog poo.
This guy Spurs
Damn this and his TNT interview – seems like the kind of person you would want to hang out with.
A student of the game…
man it’s hard to hate this guy.
I’m really glad he’s grounded and likable.
Shaq hammered “patient” into his head so hard in the post-game interview that the poor kid can’t get it out of his brain.
Just the brains alone on this kid. He is going to adapt and come into his own soon enough. Have we witnessed a larger ceiling? I’m looking forward to witnessing his evolution.
It’s true though. KD is so polished and refined. That one highlight of KD going at Wemby, then jabbing at the block and then pulling out a fade away jumper… it was not just a pretty shot. It was a move KD has refined where he can manipulate the timing and tempo of those movements to throw off his defenders. It felt like Wemby never stood a chance on that iso.
