During the hiring process, teams literally have “mock media interviews” as part of the hiring steps. How did this dude get hired? He’s uninspiring, inarticulate, mumbles, stutters, mutters… All you have to do is simply watch opposing Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic speak during his post games, and even with ESL, the guy communicates clearly and knows exactly what he wants to say. Adrian Griffin is not the coach for this team. All of you people saying “give it time blah blah blah,” sorry but the Bucks are supposed to be a contender. It’s not like they did a complete 180 with their team identity; their core is still the same. You’re not supposed to get blown out twice in four games. And they needed Dame to go nuclear and the refs to give them multiple 4 pt plays to barely win their opener. Meanwhile, Jrue and Kristaps are new players on their team; they definitely don’t need to “take time to acclimate.” Celtics are taking care of business. Also says a lot when Stotts resigns on the team. The rest of the coaches are complete simps (Griffin, Prunty) who have never won anything.
He has this team looking lethargic and unorganized on both sides of the ball. With a lineup like what they have you shouldn't still be figuring out how to coach them. Through all 4 games they've looked extremely off. I don't like his style
Anybody who knows ball knew they’d take a huge loss defensively. Got killed on the boards. Also now have a ball control heavy PG so it makes sense why they resort to isolations and get killed on the assist comparison as well.
