Reporting is mostly from Spain so not sure how accurate but this is the second report of this offer I’ve seen.

Scariolo, who has worked with Griffin in his Toronto Raptors stint, would replace Terry Stotts who resigned from his job weeks ago. Since parting ways with Virtus Bologna, he has turned down ASVEL Villeurbanne proposal to replace TJ Parker.”

This would be a fantastic pickup and he already has a working relationship with Griffin, spending 3 years with Griff in Toronto under Nick Nurse.
Scariolo is a really good coach, to the extent that I would actually be intrigued with the option of just promoting him to HC semi-quickly if Griff continues being an abominable HC.
