Jayston Tatum scores 30, Boston Celtics beat Indiana Pacers by 51!

The Celtics came out focused and hungry, playing up to their potential rather than down to their opponent, and it led to a monster 51 point win over the Pacers. John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal has (almost) nothing but positive things to say about the team’s focus, Jayson Tatum’s easy 30 points, the bench bounce-back performance, and the amazing combination of Jrue Holiday and Derrick White.

  1. Celtics could have scored Zero in the 4th, and still would have won! (But it was nice seeing the BENCH score a whopping 46 in the 4th, redeeming themselves after their lackluster 4th qtr against the Wizards.

  2. God, it’s so scary that the Celtics are so good that this feels like, the NBA is gonna change some rules. This team could be as good as the 90’s bulls, like really, the coming blowouts are going to give the bench playing time which will develop them further increasing the gap. This….seriously Denver is the closest, and I think they would get embarrassed.

  3. John, you were totally right about Sam going 5 for 5 on 3's to get his average back up, then he missed one. Lol.

  4. Hauser and Pritchard both looked much better tonight. What an absolute ass whooping of epic proportions. Can’t agree more on the importance and luxury of getting the starters extra rest. And DWhite has so far just blown me away with his defense, bball IQ and ability to seamlessly connect with Jrue. Thanks John.☘️🔒

  5. Amazing and fun to watch The bench gets to play and develop Banton is looking great! hauser is getting better great time to be a Celtics fan indeed! 🎉☘️

  6. Celtics loook Scary af!! Imagine being a Bucks fan right now lol. I know they’re thinking “I think we made a mistake getting Dame for Jrue”. 😂😂the crazy part is everyone looks better, Tatum look stronger and more balanced with his moves. JB is more patient but still has to make better decisions. White is confident and definitely improved with his shooting again. He looks stronger too. They want a ring bad!

  7. Like coach said "you can't stop everything, but you can stop the one thing a team does best" The C's controlled the pace from start to finish, even the much maligned bench squad played like their hair was on fire 🔥😅 ☘️💯

  8. only thing i'm worried about is Tatum's MVP chances. because Doncic is playing about 40 min per game. and therefore are scoring more points. but looking from team perspective reduced minutes for starters is great. to keep them healthy.
