Ya he can shoot 3s, but seeing Lively hand off to him in the paint for a dunk awakened a different part of me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Mavs player do that.

Probably need to add Kidd here. He stuck by Jones even after the first two games. I have no idea why a vet min is starting for us but Jones for the last two games have shown us why.

Absolutely loved him in Miami and I was so sad they let him go. He had so many flashes but Spo never really let him shine. Glad to see he’s getting the love he deserves

Honestly think he’s a better fit than Thybulle would’ve been. His ability to drive close outs is a night and day difference from what we’ve had recently from guys like Bullock, Holiday, etc.
Also feels like we’ve barely seen how his explosiveness and verticality can unlock things in the offense. Dude has dynamite in his legs and hasn’t gotten to show it off much yet. He’s still only 26 too. League screwed up letting him sit in FA all summer.
