Jrue Holiday on the Celtics offense: “First play of the game was for me and I had a post up. I could’ve found someone. But with the talent that we have, who are you gonna guard?”

Forget the Jays not being in the top 5 best duos in the NBA

The Celtics with JB, JT, KP, Jrue and Buffalo have the best quintet in the NBA

Honestly I didn’t realize how much more space we’d have by having KP and Jrue, and White getting a better shooter.

I wanted to dislike the fact that the ball movement isn’t super flowing in this offense. But what we have instead is basically Tatum and Brown playing 1v1 with all the space in the world, or just the biggest space to play a 2 man game with a combination of any of our guys. The two consecutive KP/Brown plays where KP faked a hand-off, then did a pass to a cutting Jaylen for the dunk. That only happened because everyone else has to stay home on Jrue/White/Tatum. The spacing is so good it almost feels like the floor is bigger whenever we’re on offense.

It’s really hard to gameplan against a team wherr any player can score a bucket with ease. One point that stood out for me was the fact that Holiday can post up against most small guards, and that opens the floor so much.
