I respect the hell out of Draymond but hard not to contrast his lack of professionalism and self control to Steph
Peepeetodapin
No G league all star JP this year thank god. 👏
CummingInTheNile
Damn Dray throwing some shade at he who must not be named
nerdalerd
Well, seeing JP take a no-look turnaround 3-pointer one game and throw an alley-oop off the backboard down 21 the next…Draymond is extremely far and away not innocent in all of this but from a basketball perspective, I can see his point.
NoChanceNoProblem
I mean the elephant in the room…. at least mention it and take some accountabillity.
cock-a-dooodle-do
Lmao, he is low-key blaming JP for chemistry here and also subtly telling you why he punched him in the first place.
Slow ass half court high pnr with good athletes/ good spacing and multiple set actions.
Yeah I’d say the “chemistry” this year is a bit better.
zer01zer08
Looked to me all year a lot of the team wanted to punch JP. Dray did what others couldn’t.
BobRoss4Life
lol
deliciouspuppy
draymond later added “not saying why chemistry sucked but let’s just say it wasn’t cuz of <looks at his notes> lamb, iguodala, JG, pbj, jerome, lester wait he’s still on the team, rollins, and donte.”
Kdog122025
He’s not wrong but isn’t taking any accountability at all lol.
Analyticsman24
This is BS. This was about JP getting his money and Draymond not getting an extension which caused all the tension. He’s on record saying “you better be prepared to deal with the consequences” after not getting it.
I also think having GP and Dario last year would have sprayed perfume over a lot of the issues because they would have won like 8 more games. JP was not doing this dumb shit in Washington in GS. Aside from the turnovers and a poor effort on D JP was kinda fine.
Dull-Intention-7347
Draymond, the locker room cancer that drove out Durant and Poole. It must have been really easy for Poole to go to work knowing his employer didn’t discipline the guy who sucker punched him and concussed him. It must have been really easy for Poole to go to work knowing that his employer condoned the sucker punch and workplace violence.
BeetLover1111
It amazes me that we are: 1. Still talking about the punch 2. Still assuming we know exactly what happened. Do you guys really thing Draymond would punch Poole out of the blue and the warriors give him a new contract and trade Poole?
skunksplnk
He’s an ass but he’s our ass (donkey pun intended)
eexxiitt
I’m so glad Poole was traded. He had a ton of talent and a bright future but after he helped the dubs win a chip and he got paid his true colours really came out.
Listening to the interview where he talked about how his legacy is already complete and watching him play on the wizards it’s clear he only gives a shit about himself. I can only imagine how frustrated the vets were with him – here’s a guy who CAN play the right away and could help them win more championships and (and make hundreds of millions more) but he’s just too selfish and immature to care about anything else than himself.
pnoisebored
Dude saw we top of west and returns to yapping 😅
taygads
I remember thinking several times last season “man, I can’t remember the last time I saw Steph having fun on the court.” And it’s Steph we’re talking here, he’s literal walking joy. So Draymond’s not lying lol when it’s getting to Steph that bad, it’s BAD.
MagicianMoo
If the r/warriors win another title, i bet some of the clowns would say its worth the punch. 🤡🤡

Tells you a lot about Draymond. Klay’s interview contrasts with this.
Floppy_Jet1123
And whose fault was it Dray?
mgwooley
He is right, but he played a role in that. He should own up to it.
w0rm1sh
Can anyone see what was written on the corner of that piece of paper? Maybe media notes not to talk about last year’s chemistry or something?
JKbHyperizin
I can’t believe how many comments I am reading that are critical of Draymond at all. Fact: when it looked like the Warriors wouldn’t win their first championship, Draymond went buck wild yelling at the team and motivating them to pull it out. Fact: Draymond recruited Kevin Durant to the team, setting up the best basketball team ever. Two rings, would’ve been a three peat if not for injuries. Then there is his play, which has four rings next to it. Of course I have seen all the controversial stuff. Whatever. He plays with passion and gets triggered. Side effects of who he is and a meaningless expense for FOUR RINGS. As for Poole, he punched him. Did you all not read that it happens a lot? Do you all think no man ever deserves it? Are we that soft in the world now? Personally, I think if Draymond punches a dude, I trust Draymond. Poole was openly talking about taking Klays job and playing like an idiot. You guys have no idea what stupid shit he said to Draymond. Don’t be wussies
giantdub49
I was saying this all last season, but everyone was downvoting me and insulting me. I have the same recovery specialist as the warriors, and I see them a lot. Chemistry was the main issue. It’s why road games were nearly impossible to win. We made the right moves this off-season, and it will continue to show as the season goes on. The team has that excitement amongst themselves, and its great to see
raditz147
I was just having a conversation the other day about a manager from another department at work, who was such an asshole that one of his employees punched him in the face at work, and how after that happened the manager got moved to another department. And I remember saying how horrible he must be to get punched and then they move HIM. Just kinda made a connection here. (Of course this is the regular world not sports so the employee who punched him did get fired)
Fr0_oz3n
Dray was lying.
First off, the warriors didn’t have the personnel for a chip run; the front office let most of the chemistry walk out of the door in the off-season…Bjelica, Damion Lee, Otto Porter, Juan Toscano, GP2 all gone. Plus Wiggins was gone because of family issues.
They brought GP2 back eventually but by then it was too late and he was hurt.
Now you have the Jordan Poole issues and Dray punched him into the multiverse. No excuse for that. Poole is not the first immature player to ever join an nba team.

Dray snapped pretty hard at Moses last night. The body language I saw said, hey, I’ve gotta continue to cut, but also, Dray, that wasn’t a good pass to begin with.
I think when everyone understands that the goal is just to win, that everything else will be taken care of.
Aintnostoppingusnow
Draymond is such a spoiled loser. I can’t believe he has any defenders left at this point
DinerEnBlanc
I hope they find who did that to JP.
AstralAfroToo
Between how he reacted to the KD incident, and how he is treating the Jordan Poole punch, it’s clearly evident that Draymond has the self-awareness of a termite.
sanka_youdeadman
This shit pisses me off. Draymond has literally no accountability in this org and they let him get away with it. The punch and then the stomp were the final straws for me. I tolerate him because he is integral to our winning, but damn I wish someone, anyone, held him accountable for his temper and how it affects the team. These two thing can coexist – he can be a key member of the team and also held accountable by the other leaders for acting in a way that is detrimental to our teams success. Doesn’t matter so much if JP was being an ass, so was Draymond so don’t act like it is all on JP.
yl2chen
It’s comical to see some of yall mock Dray for the lack of accountability, as if delivering a strong decade as a team isn’t the ultimate sign of being accountable to the fans. Action speak louder than words, if any of you watches basketball seriously, you’d see how JP is a chemistry killer and doesn’t fit into our culture here, even in the 2021-2022 championship run, he was a cone on defense and many games in the finals he was borderline unplayable, he was CANCER, happy that he is gone. Go DUBS!

As much as cp3 is a little pest, he is at least another adult in the room for Kerr. Unlike poole, who would shit his pants and then proceed to play with it.
