They look good but they've played 4 bottom tier teams no one expects to do anything this year. Each team they played are middle of the pack or lower defensively. But at the end of the day that's not the Mavs fault. They did exactly what they had to do and they look good doing it.

thank god I didn't bother wasting 15 minutes of my time, just by reading the comments its obvious people thinks you're crazy. Your take on the Mavericks aged as well as last year when they traded for Kyrie and said they were the best duo before an embarrassment to finish the season so badly they were fined by the NBA for purposely sucking. Whats changed? The fact Luka still got knocked out of the Fiba World Cup or the fact Kyrie still hasn't had his shots? Pun intended btw, shots on the court and off the court, last time I checked, they ran the clock out together and lost the game because they couldn't get a shot off for each others to save their lives. Don't get it twisted, having great numbers against teams with no offense because your rookie is having a temporary start means nothing in the long run. Look what happened last year, the Kings were the best offense and had the clutch player of the year just to lose at home in Round 1. Stop fronting.

Derrick Jones playing the best basketball of his life. They still aren’t a top 5 team but they are playing at a high level. I assume they get smoked in Denver but it appears with a healthy Kyrie this is a team that will never be out of games. Defensively they are clearly better with Williams and lively, along with a healthy, motivated Josh green.
With this team, who knows how well they’ll play moving forward.
Celtics will destroy the mavs as they always do. Tatum consistently locks down Luka then dunks on him. Now add jrue and white to that. Who scoring on the mavs?
It’s crazy how deep our bench is. I honestly didn’t realize how talented DJJ is. I knew of his athleticism and good transition offense, but he’s actually a quality player all the way around.
