I’m sorry but seeing what Brook Lopez was doing for the Bucks from three and then seeing Mitch he needs to fall back. Where was the training to expand his game past five feet? Mitch is a fantastic rebounder so I can’t take that from him but a semblance of an offensive game would be nice

the only passing action we got is the ring around the rosie beyond the three point line at the start of possessions.

Honestly, Lopez and Giannis put a stop to the lob every time we play them. Also with them playing drop it was essentially “let Brunson beat us” which he did… If we didn’t have a basketball war criminal as our starting power forward we would’ve won this easily. Mitch also has to add some type of a hook shot.

He’s not wrong. Mitch had what, 14 rebounds?
We all know Mitch can’t get his own, but you’re supposed to give the big fella some easy ones for running around all game.

This is where we miss RJ

I saw them missing a few lob opportunities in game, but with Giannis and Lopez, you need someone who can thread the needle to make those passes.

Trainer should focus on training Mitch how to shoot

We don’t have a true distributor to get everybody involved

The paint was packed with defenders (as usual because every team wants the Knicks to shoot 3s) so there was no way to get Mitch involved without the pass being picked off.

Mitch’s trainer earned this one.
Could have sworn that IQ missed a perfect lob-ortunity to Mitch in the 2nd half.
But at the end of the day, Mitch’s shaky FT shooting is gonna keep him from more touches than not.

With how Robinson works, I don’t care what the play call is, Brunson or Quickley should talk to Mitch one-on-one and tell him we’re going to run some isolated screen action to get Mitch an easy roll or short range jumper.
It’s time the Knicks on the floor reward Robinson’s play if the coaching staff isn’t going to do it.

Knicks don’t have a playmaking point guard to set Mitch up with easy buckets.
I love Brunson but dude is out to get his. His assist numbers should tell you that.

I remember his rookie year he was catching lobs all day
