Love how some of his Stans came out of the woodwork after a halfway decent start only to go silent when it was clear we were in for another poopfest

But guys he’s a two time All star and two time All NBA can you give him some leeway?
And also he just recently had a major major ankle surgery that’s even worse than any ACL repair and Achilles repair come on guys. Like even tho the surgery was back in June and even though the **doctors and trained professionals** cleared him to not only start the season but to start training camp – it’s still affecting him. And even tho he’s had a full training camp to iron out his rhythm and conditioning it’s obv this horrible horrible ankle injury is why he’s not running back on defense, taking dumbass shots and sulking around his teammates
Like guys can we blindly support him again. He’s gonna start stat padding anytime soon again and then he’ll choke for us in the playoffs again and then we will find another excuse guys. That’s how this works.

Man y’all are really excited one of our players is terrible right now huh. I get it, but I feel like some of you are a bit too happy that we’re struggling.

I thought they were dates. When I realized they weren’t I started getting sad.

One would be forgiven for suspecting that he’s trying to tank his own trade value.

I honestly believe his woes are because Obi left and before i get the “oBi SuCkS EvEn MoRe BrO!” Let me explain.
While he did have his major flaws, the one thing he had going for him was that he had “untapped potential” and was generally liked by the crowd. If anything this put Julius in a spot where he *could* (even though thibs would never) lose minutes to him and that made him try harder to secure his spot.
There is currently no fear of losing a job in julius randle bc we literally could not replace him. He has no selfish motivation to drive his play and put him under pressure. He obviously is not driven by a desire to win like brunson because he often gives up when times get too tough.
Anyway, been sitting on this theory and just needed a place to voice it. Julius dicksucks downvote me to oblivion.

It’s tough because he’s getting decent shots and good looks that are just not falling. No excuse but how do you just tell him to get good. He’s been working hard it just doesn’t translate.

Remember this next time Randle has a hot streak and some of us want to trade him.
I remember people jumping down my throat for suggesting we should trade him this off-season while his value is high.

Do people realize Randle is getting his rhythm back after ankle surgery? Cut him some slack, Randle may need 15-20 games to play to his normal standards.
