paul currently has a plus minus of +62 so far this 2023/24 NBA season thru the first 6 games
oubre back in 2020/21 was a -26 thru 4 games when he shot the same amount of 3 pt shots as paul has now
if you want to expand it a couple of more games to match paul’s total games played performance right now … oubre actually shot 2/30 from 3 and was a -36 in the first 6 games of that 2020/21 NBA season
we don’t even have to go into the assist & turnover ratio thru the first 6 games either
oubre – 3 assists / 12 turnovers
paul – 54 assists / 6 turnovers
basically whenever paul is on the floor early this season good things are happening for the warriors … the hope for the warriors of course is to keep paul healthy not only for the rest of the NBA regular season but especially into the playoffs which is where he’s faded and gotten hurt for much of the past decade with multiple contending teams

i liked oubre even tho he didn’t fit. that kind of player can be great on the dubs, it just didn’t work out.
not a knock on either party. i think he’s a really exciting player and i’m glad he’s having success in philly

it’s been long enough that we can all admit the oubre hate was really about the awful state of the warriors, and he was just the stupidest guy around.
