Still very raw at times, but his instincts are absolutely there. With some more time and continued coaching support, I have no doubt this dude can be a *very* good big man for a very long time. We haven’t had a guy like this since Tyson.
Even if he never gets to that legendary kind of level, the skillset he brings to the floor is something Dallas should have gone and gotten the MOMENT Luka joined our franchise.

14 rebounds and there was still a few more he could have had. He is going to be among top in the league in rebounds once he gains more experience and strength. Just dominant in the 4th, it’s like Mark Williams wasn’t even there lol.

Not taking anything away from Dereck, so happy to have him and he deserves all the credit in the world for his performance so far… but I am SO glad we had Tyson working with this dude in camp. He clearly knew what he was doing with him.
