Quick question: What games are Scott Foster reffing this season?
Our top 2 played lineups in terms of minutes are both negatives lol (Starters, -19 net rating, Bench -7.8 net) which matches eye test – team only goes on runs during the mix & match lineups late 1st, late 2nd, and mid 4th.
The starters are terrible defensively (130 something DRTG) and the bench is terrible offensively (103 ORTG)
I HOPE the starters fix themselves on defense, it shouldn’t be that bad, but it’s a 65 minute sample size so maybe once it gets to 120+ Kerr should look at changing it up.
I don’t think the hockey sub bench unit is ever going to be good on offense though, they’re completely reliant on GP2 creating easy transition baskets and Dario hitting his 3s. The thing is, that same unit but with Klay instead of Moody, is like a +12 net so there are some simple solutions here. The CP3 + TJD duo has a really good net rating as well.
It’s nice to be 6-2 when your top 2 lineups aren’t even a positive lol but it does also mean Kerr needs to start switching his combinations up because there’s good ones in there, they just need to play more
We cannot beat Nuggets, Sixers, Cavs, Lakers, Bucks because cant guard a good size with good 3 point shooting…
2 upcoming Dubs Kryptonite (Nuggets and Wolves) I’m scared, but hopeful. Give TJD minutes!
In other news we are already 5-1 on the road. Last season we were 11-31 lol
