Do yall remember that one game maxey had where he dropped like 39 on the nuggets his rookie year when everybody was out due to covid that’s when I knew maxey would be great
If they beat the celtics you really have to be high on this team, maxey will only get better as he acclimates to being on ball more and the sixers obviously are planning a big move or two. Between the new system/coaching, a bit of a playmaking leap from joel, and the leap from maxey they dont really seem to miss harden all that much. Honestly him throwing a fit and demanding out kind of saved the sixers a bit because he would not embrace nurse's system if he were here and i just dont trust him in the playoffs obviously, so getting the assets we did combined with harden's absence freeing up maxey to develop cracked the championship window back open potentially
Joel Embiid did his best impression of Klay Thompson in the 3rd quarter, then sat out the 4th quarter like Steph Curry used to!! 😆🤭
I love this team man. Nurse injected heart into this team and I couldn't be happier. It was always my #1 complaint with them.
