  1. When a player is down on the court you stop the game, its like this in any sport, health is more important. Stop hating.

  2. As a Mavs fan, Mavs have lead 1 game this season at the half. The night before they were down 12 to the Hornets, and have on average a 122 defensive rating in first halves. They just come out of the gate super slow. However, at halftime their defense picks up drastically down to 102 (!) defensive rating and 121 offensive rating in second halves.
    1st in clutch points
    1st in clutch 3pts made AND 3pt%
1st in 4th quarters net rating

Even in the loss to the Nuggets they went down by 20 in the first quarter and then proceeded to win the other three (by a small margin, but hey)
It's just such a weird team

  3. Suggs got an intentional shoulder straight to the mouth. No flagrant foul. Suggs unintentionally elbows someone to the mouth. That's a flagrant foul. Now we know that shoulders to the face is not a flagrant foul.

  4. As a 20+ years long Mavs Fan from Germany, I am very glad and a bit sad at the same time. Dallas is just the strangest team so far this season. They basically loose every 1st half (-5.9 Points on average) and blow out opponents in the 2nd Half (+12.4, by far no 1 in the entire league). This was just the epitone of our season so far. So Dallas being 6-1 while playing extremely well in late game situations makes me very glad.

The sad part… of course I am rooting for my other fellow germans as well. And Franz is in a bit of a slump right now. It looks to me like he tryes a bit to hard and doesnt play in the flow of the offense. He forces drives and contested shots when its not really needed. But hey, he is still very young, as is the entire roster. If your injured guys come back, I am sure your team will be fine.

  5. I’m not super mad because the mavs are a really weird team this year. They are almost bad in the first half but damn near turn into a contender level team in the second half almost every game. They are very very sneaky from what my mavs mutual’s tell me.

  6. By the way, you are right about Mo Wagner. He should play more at the 4. Thats what he did on the National Team next to either Theiss or Voigtmann. I would love to see some WCJ/Wagner lineups when he is back, where WCJ can play the 4 (better 3P shooter) on offense and Mo the 4 on defense… Same with Bitadze/Banchero as the other starter/bench combination. Your coaching staff just has to find a way to stagger the lineups a bit better and there should be enough playing time for both bench bigs.
