    I wish people would actually watch wolves games so they stop repeating tge clogged paint talking point. The 2 bigs dont clog the paint at all

    Basically everyone on the perimeter are good defenders besides jmac and kat. The opponent 3pt % isn’t just some fluke from a bad defensive team

    Another guy who doesn't watch the Wolves. Jaden McDaniels is playing like the DPOY. Wolves have to guard Jokic with Towns because Rudy gets pushed around by Jokic. He's been good but people overlook stuff like that. They put him on Gordon because they have to. That doesn't say DPOY for Gobert when Towns takes your toughest matchup. KAT has a problem driving past smaller faster players when Rudy is clogging up the paint at the same time. KAT said after the game before the Celtics he is having a hard time going inside because thats where Rudy operates. He can drive past other centers while Gobert is on the bench and he is at the 5 with Naz Reid or Kyle Anderson next to him at 4. The 4s can play him up tight and take away open looks from 3 because of the speed deficit and they know both big men are reducing his ability to drive. Wolves were top 3 offense the year before the aquired Rudy. They are still only 23rd offensively over a year later. Rudy prevents points on both ends of the floor and lowers the teams overall offensive ceiling. Rudy has taken away everything KAT did well offensively while he gets nothing but praise for his defense. KAT is also a top rated defender but its going unmentioned. Jaden missed the 1st 2 games and was on a minutes restriction the next 2 or defense would be better.

    i think, maybe, the 3 point percentages defensively, they really arent getting to the rim in the half court, we have deficiencies in our transition, but because the lane is so hard to get to, and mid range is so looked down on, they have nothing but to force a lot of 3s. and we have a depth of wing and perimeter defenders now. Towns has been playing some harder D, and yes some is because he has rudy, but in most games, seems like he is really having the want to. which we didnt see much in prior years. But he has to get out of his head sometimes when things or calls dont go his way.

    Towns for Lavine you sound stupid right now? Hahaha suck a stupid trade to suggest. Why not just say get Wiggins back for Towns instead at least he fits the team profile. These guys. None of you people either watch the Wolves or know basketball one or the other. People that watch Minnesota play a couple times a year when its worth your time always think they know what this team is made of and its the furthest from the truth. Wolves had the worst record against teams that were under 500 while having a winning record against teams over 500 in more than the past 20 years. The only team to come close was a Suns team that was 19-15 against below 500 teams about 20 years ago. That means they are a far superior team than what their record shows and they definitely played down to certain opponents while also having young stars in Edwards and McDaniels.

    Mavs= Easy opening schedule

    You don't get lucky when its 6 games. It's the defense. They changed how they use Gobert from last season. That is why the improvement on D. So when you have all of Gobert, McDaniels and Ant and even Naw out there pressuring like crazy, teams are not going to have open looks on threes.
