Hell of a win y’all. Absolutely *sucks* Herro was so stupidly unlucky to get his ankle so jacked up the way he did. Not having his offense for this road trip is gonna suck. Still, good job by the guys to get it done tonight.
* Everyone feel Bam go extra hard vs JJJ tonight? He wants that DPOY! First vs the Lakers and AD and again tonight. He struggled for the first 3 Q offensively, stayed aggressive, then came through with an awesome 4th. 30/11 is All-NBA y’all!!! * Haywood Highsmith is blossoming. Blocks, corner 3’s, I see the vision Spo! * **Best** game of the season by Lowry. (*minus nearly throwing the game away at the end*) Not worth 30M but the hustle, charges, timely 3pt shooting was phenomenal. I apologize for thinking preseason he’d mail this year’s performance in * Josh Richardson y’all…. it’s *only* been 8 games. But he’s been the biggest disappointment thus far. 1/9 shooting is one thing but 4 TURNOVERS? Hope he figures it out since I love the guy but sheesh * Jaquez with the dagger wins the JJJ nickname over Jaren!
As for the Grizz, they got a whole lotta dudes who don’t scare you. Kennard started 3/3 from 3 and then vanished. Biyombo had a great game for them but he’s Biyombo. Bane/Smart are whatev offensively and not that scary. They got a legit fat dude in Lofton Jr. who I discovered so that’s cool. They may be 8-17 by the time Ja returns. Hope they right the ship cuz I like their franchise otherwise.

Bam and fake JJJ have a lowkey pretty good rivalry going on. Glad Bam got it together against him in the 4th and proved he’s the better center. Lowry and Highsmith were fantastic tonight. Highsmith especially in the earlier quarters was everywhere on both ends and doing a little bit of everything. And of course THE REAL JJJ, Jaime Jacquez with the great game on both ends and that clutch 3 to seal it. Jimmy took the night off to rest. Tyler please be okay.

Running the offense through Bam in the 4th quarter
1. Holy Jacquez! What a stud. So crafty and has some serious defensive chops for a rookie. Impressive composure and instincts. He’s a big, strong dude with skills. He needs more minutes.
2. I’m resigned to the fact that we’re gonna have another regular season full of clutch games. Sigh.
3. Kyle was great. Engaged. Impactful. We need him to bottle that up.
4. Losing Tyler hurts big. Hope it’s minor.
5. Haywood is sound defensively and always seems to make the right plays. More minutes please.
6. Richardson is unplayable.
7. JJJ is more versatile offensively than Bam but Bam does so much MORE defensively. It was clear cut.
8. The evolution of Bam – demanding the ball in the 4th, earning trips to the line and leading by example – he has arrived.
9. Let’s keep chipping away at the 4th quarter differential.
I would’ve been very discouraged had we coughed this one up. Need to clean up the TO’s, it’s not who they are. GG, got the 1st road win of the season.
