What a stand up gentleman. No Arrogance and talks respectful to everyone. 🫡
After watching the entirety of the game, it was apparent that Victor had an off-game. But most won't admit the fact that the Spurs as a whole CONTINUE to miss Wemby on wide open looks, both on the perimeter and ESPECIALLY on the inside.
Numerous possessions where Victor would seal down low and no looks were given to him. He had multiple mismatches while rim-running that also did not end up with the ball being in his hands. He had only 5 shot ATTEMPTS at the half, less than damn Doug McDermott. This doesn't excuse him from his poor game, but even a generational talent needs to be fed in order to develop that rhythm. FEED WEMBY!
He is getting screwed. Somehow he is invisible to his teammates when on the floor. They totally ignore him. The ball should be moving through him every time down.
bro 1st half was so bad because they had a 7'4 dude playing in the perimeter. The spurs have to find victor inside the paint for god's sake he's 7'4

I noticed tons of open lobs the spurs miss when victor is cutting or moving towards the hoop … lots of post plays don’t get used despite him being in position… the guards have to do better

I cant watch the spurs this season anymore unless we get an even 5/10 point guard. This is getting ridiculous. This is the third blowout loss so far. I know this is a "learning" season but Pop and the Spurs are setting this kid up for both embarrassment and failure with no good veteran presence on the team and no proper point guard. Its getting to the point where the whole team is just getting sent out every other night on the court to look foolish on national tv.
Obviously the spurs arent close to be a contending team, but for the love of god trade for some somewhat competent players to not completely humiliate your young core on national televsion every night. I can see it definitely messes them all up mentally. How are these kids supposed to grow when theres no one on the team they can look for guidance in?

As a Spurs fan im not worried nor in a hurry to win multiple games, I think Pop is using this year as to who will stay with Wemby and go and who will be added remember that Spurs has a big cap and who knows could be another lottery picker next year.
