But Kris I thought was gonna be backup 4 right away.
No Timelord, Ant or Brog frees up minutes

Weird timing for Kris given front court injuries but very glad he’ll get some minutes under his belt

Does this mean we have 2 open roster spots?

Can’t wait for the remix season to start.

Remember most draft picks are misses. I’m not saying these guys are going to be, but I wouldn’t get too attached to them.
A lot of our players in the next few years are gonna be projects or miss completely.
Ugh, I’m gonna hate tanking.

I think this makes sense for both actually. This was always going to be Rupert’s destiny as he’s 19 and was viewed as a total “project” pick. I do think that Camara has clearly taken what could’ve been Murray’s backup role, and since Forward is the only spot the Blazers are flush with players right now, it’s better for everyone that he gets real minutes in the G League.
Side note: stoked for the Remix season to start. I’m planning to be at opening night (maybe the second game too), and actually attending more of them than Blazers games this year. Smaller capacity + minor league vibes is more my speed for live sports, and it’s still gonna be really good ball with a lot of guys playing for their jobs / careers.

It was cool of Chauncey to add Kris to the rotation for a bit last night. Got to play against his brother in front of his family. I think this will be good for him.

My guess is Reath will go the other way and start being active for games
