  1. It seems like the Kings are still figuring out who's in and out in their rotation. You can see they are trying to build chemistry and learn each other's game with Jones, Duarte, and Vezenko now on the team. Also, I think Mike has put such an emphasis on defense that they lost their identity as one of the highest-scoring teams in the league. Playing defense well (which is really average at best for them now) takes a toll on your legs and eventually hurts your shooting because you can get exhausted easily. Plus, they are thinking way too much as opposed to just playing and having this Zen nature to their game. It reminds me of Last Samurai when Tom's character was learning how to fight with a sword, "Too much thinking." Just do, meaning trust what you practiced so hard to do and let it go…..flow naturally. On top of that, the Pacific Conference is TOUGH! There is NOT one team that is a cakewalk, and without DeAaron out there, a definite All-Star who can take over games at the end as well as make everyone around him better……it's going to be tough.

Teams know the Kings' offense flows through Sabonis and they took notes on how the Warriors were so physical with him because he is what sets the offense in the beginning. Mike Brown needs to throw some curve balls and NOT be so predictable on offense. Instead of a handoff at the top of the 3-point line, Sabonis can drive, take that middy, or the guards attack and drive, looking for easier shots instead of waiting to shoot 3s. They need to show something different imo.
