[Jones Jr] My gut feeling with the Lakers offense is the process has been ok, they aren’t making shots. The blend between P&R, post ups and movement has been a little off. But they’ve been able to generate good looks which is half the battle.

Nah the offense sucks and Darvin Ham needs to be sent to the Gaza Strip /s

I understand complaining about the 5 out offense, but these guys are missing wide open shots. At some point, the blame somewhat has to be on the players, and not all on the coaching staff

    Been saying it all week.

We are now last in 3pt % and opponents are shooting the 8th best against us.

The bad 3pt defense isn’t surprising, but this team was built to be an elite offense, and the shots aren’t going down. Need some luck and confidence.

If correct, Lakers are also allowing 116 pts per game (on avg). That’s towards the bottom of the of which the Bucks are worse too.

Disagree. A “good look” doesn’t just mean a guy standing around spotting up, feeling uninvolved in the offense waiting for a kick out pass that’s “open”, so it must be a “good look” right?

Not exactly. Not everyone thrives with that type of offense…most players are not a Kyle Korver who are more than happy to just spot up and shoot lol.

We need movement, offball screens, diving to the basket, blitzing. Easy opportunity for buckets to get guys’ confidences up and actually feel involved. And every hooper and their mom knows when your confidence is up, you shoot better.
