It will be interesting to see what we do at the trade deadline. We really do have a solid core of young talent even at the g league. Guys could use some NBA minutes. If we are a boarder line playoff team does Marks stand pat? If I were GM I would look to trade Dinwiddie, DTS and Royce and go full youth movement. I think with the young talent we have we wouldn’t be terrible. With Simmons, Cam Thomas, Cam Johnson, Claxton, Lonnie Walker and Bridges and a bunch of young hungry guys, I think we would still make the play in. Trading the DDR three should fetch picks and even more talent and may even reduce payroll. Love to lockup Lonnie, Giles and Watford. Does anyone think Nets go after a “superstar” at the trade deadline? I’d rather go youth movement now myself. Any young players you would like to see Nets trade for?
Offense looks discombobulated without Simmons. Not saying we would’ve won with him, but you can tell everyone felt more pressured without a 6 ft 10 sharp passer always looking to feed them.
