Very obvious, but crazy fact to me… Tyrese Haliburton is still on his rookie contract and really has only played 3 seasons in the NBA. Most guys don’t peak until year 6.

My dude is playing like, has the poise of, and feels like a 27 year-old young superstar veteran with 8 years under his belt. Not 23 years-old with still a year left on his rookie contract. Crazy to me he is still going to continue to get better in every aspect of his game over the next 3-4 years. The majority of guys don’t peak until year 6.

Yeah, this is a big part of why I think it’s wrong thatso many fans are pushing for the team to make some kind of consolidation move with our young guys to get a “proven star” or whatever. People forget he’s 23 damn years old and we have him signed for as long as it’s possible to have him signed for. We have as much of a runway to build a team around a star that any team can hope to have in the current cba.

He hasn’t peaked yet. Keep that in mind. He’s gonna get better.

He hasn’t even begun to peak. And when he does peak, you’ll know. Because he’s gonna peak so hard that everybody in Indianapolis is gonna feel it.
