Super underrated aspect of his game is forcing nothing offensively yet still staying aggressive on that end. Hard to find that sweet spot but Jrue is doing a great job just 8 games in
Almost another triple double, Jrue is so good at stopping the bleeding. Nothing seems to faze him, complete opposite of Smart.
Love the pickup. Heβs one of those guys who wonβt be the reason u lose games but will aid in winning u games. He knows what he can and canβt do and I feel like thatβs the main difference with him and smart, smart tried to be the hero all the time down the stretch by chucking up a late game 3 to try and tie the game or take the lead and that isnβt his game. Holiday is great at spreading the ball cause he knows shooting isnβt rly his strength, the jays and KP just gotta hit those clutch 3βs and we will be in good shape.
Jrue is very good
Holiday is one of the best rebounding guards I've ever seen, so far he's averaging 7.3 rebs, including 2.0 orebs. He's such a high IQ player he's always in the right position to get rebounds on both ends, his role as a scorer may be reduced in Boston, but it's having no effect on how impactful he is, cause he's contributing everywhere else, what he's done for this team defensively has been unbelievable, he's rebounding, he's being a facilitator, he's making all the hustle plays. Such a difference from him and Smart.
