The NBA’s WORST FEAR Just Came True…

This video looks at the Denver nuggets and how they are still the best team in basketball even without Jamal Murray, as Reggie Jackson and Julian Strawther have been playing good alongside Nikola Jokic

  1. Murray's stats are a bit skewed by the fact he played just 9 minutes in the game he went down. If you take that one out it gets to 18.6 points, 8.6 assists, 2.6 boards on 43.6/43.7/94.7 splits. His mid ranged jumper's been a bit off, but he was shooting great from 3 and, more than anything else, his playmaking and defense were really improved so far. Not at the same level as in the last playoffs, of course, but quite effective in his role.

    Cheers!

  2. Nugs seem to find these new players who are ready to step up right away. I've heard there is a Moneyball dude for the Nugs who finds them.

  3. I honestly don't see a team that is built to beat the Nuggets. You could maybe argue the Bucks are a bad matchup and talented enough to beat them. Maybe you could argue the Timberwolves are a bad matchup, but I just don't think they are ready to compete for a championship yet. I think teams like the Celtics or Suns would get utterly abused in the post by Jokic.

  4. the younger guys getting meaningful minutes early will pay huge dividends in the stretch run and playoffs. GS and LA are getting older and won't hold up for the long run

  5. Surprised you didn't mention gillespie. He looked pretty decent in the bulls and pelican games.

  6. Born and raised in Colorado. Been a nuggets fan since I knew what basketball was.

  7. The best thing Nuggets can do is pull Jokic out of one of the next few games completely, give him a rest, and let the team figure it out without the top two players. I think there's a lot of talent there, some in leadership too, it'd be really good for them.

  8. Bruce Brown role is broken down between Peyton (defense) and Strawther (shooting). I do feel we need a more reliable big, especially if we have to play MN in the playoffs again as Jordan is too old and barely plays anyway and Zeke is undersized to go against Rudy, Kat, and even Naz (whom I was pulling for us trading Bones for last year). I would say bring on Dwight but he talked too much schiesse against Jokic and not sure how being an openly gay man would work in the NBA (although I hear like half the league iare undercover butt pirates).

  9. I know it's only 10 games into the season but it looks like the only 2 mvp candidates are joker & doncic

  10. How good the nuggets where last season it sort of obscured the fact that MPJ and Gordon where still developing. Yeah gordon was 27 but he was still growing in to his roll as a cutting finisher. This year they are better and Jokic is playing harder. They were still a work in progress as a championship team and thats scary.

  11. Lol, I dont feel fear. I'm so glad I have to witness an all-time great player playing in a great squad. I'm not a Nuggets fan but I'm a basketball fan and Nikola Jokic might be the best thing that happened to the NBA in a long time.

I genuinely dont get the "fear" thing. Are you just using random buzz-words to get easy clicks ?
