As a Warriors fan, I think I speak for most of us – the non-casuals at least – when I say we are sick and tired of Draymond’s antics and have been for years.
At the same time, we realize we probably have 0 championships without him. Sure, he might have been just another defensive specialist role player on another team – but the Steph-Draymond engine is what powers the team.
He’s a jackass, but he’s out jackass. Classic example of a guy who you love if he’s on your team, hate him if he’s not. Or at least that’s the way it used to be. For years now, we…tolerate him.
He was playing with incredible intensity last night. Which is great until he crosses the line – he was flirting with a 2nd tech the whole game. He went overboard and lost control – again.
All that being said, I still don’t understand how Mitchell’s retaliation shove was a common foul. Ben Taylor is the worst ref in the league. Ask Fred Vanvleet.
