Need a backup big at 7 foot to battle bigger teams and need a backup wing at like 6’8 that we can use to help Grant against bigger teams. OMax MIGHT get there by the postseason but most likely next year.
Both things are gettable without having to trade the farm.
For comparisons the previous years in the Luka era we were praying for trades to get STARTERS because we MAY have one or two of them outside of Luka lmao.
Now we got 5 guys that are legitimately starters on a good team. Luka/Kyrie/Lively/Grant/DJJ. Fucking awesome. Beats the piss out of:
2022 Playoffs – Luka/JB/Bullock/DFS/Powell OR
2021 Playoffs- Luka/THJ/DFS/Maxi/KP
Mavs are a legit threat to get to the WCF. Next year we’re fucking favorites.

If we can turn Tim, Holmes, Maxi, Seth & Josh OR Hardy (plus picks ofc) to OG, a center like Gafford & a shooter off the bench (one like L.Kennard would be awesome here) also re-signing DJJ & O-Max cracking the rotation.
If we can pull these moves by next season, we are definitely WCF/Finals bound
