(For context, that was worse offensive efficiency than Charlotte’s league-worst mark of 109.4 a season ago.) This season, the Wolves have an offensive rating of 120.0 with Towns and Gobert both on the floor. (For context, Sacramento’s league-best offense was 119.7 last season.)
>Mike Conley when asked what has gone into the offense working better with those two on the floor this season: “It’s about the spacing with the two bigs. I try my best to make sure I put them in the right spots so that KAT has room to play, that Rudy has room to roll. For my job, I have to sacrifice a lot. I can’t go out there and shoot every time on pick-and-roll. I gotta get Rudy a ball, I gotta get KAT a ball, Ant a ball. I’m just trying to keep the flow going. Those guys seem to be going well and happy so I’m doing a pretty good job, I think.”

That’s my -quarterback- point guard *stifles tears*
Wow! Well this is incredible, and it honestly seems really sustainable. KAT has only just begun to shoot the ball well too 😸😸
It’s possible the Wolves might not lose another game this season. Reddit traffic will go down and there will be nothing to complain about, except for the future salary cap issues. Maybe KAT will take a pay cut to stay on the team, because at some point, how much money does a person need?! 😜
As long as Conley knows we all want him shooting more if other’s shot ability vanishes.
Its good to see Town recognize on drives that sometimes just lobbing it up to Rudy is an easier basket than laying it up himself. The fact they look good on both ends together so far this year is amazing.

I’m gonna have to eat a lot of shit about Kat if he keeps balling the way he has in this system, and I’ll be happy to.
Love this team so much, it’a a little unnerving expecting wins as a Wolves fan
