The Toronto Raptors overcame a 23-point deficit from early in the 3rd quarter and ended the game on a 21-1 run to defeat the Washington Wizards, 111-107. Pascal Siakam totaled a season-high 39 points (22 points in the 3rd quarter) to go along with 11 rebounds and 7 assists as Scottie Barnes added 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists for the Raptors. Kyle Kuzma scored a season-high 34 points while Daniel Gafford added 14 points and 9 rebounds for the Wizards. The Raptors improve to 5-5 while the Wizards move to 2-8 on the year.

The last team to overcome a deficit like this was the Chicago Bulls on April 2, 2023, as they overcame a 23-point deficit against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 23-point comeback marks the 4th largest comeback for the Raptors in the last 25 seasons (Their largest was December 22, 2019 as the Raptors overcame a 30-point deficit over the Dallas Mavericks).

  3. I know kuzma mad cause he was begging the coach to take the challenge and he didn't and made Raptors went on the run, but good comeback by Raps.

  4. Wizards need a new coach, someone who will motivate them to play defense, Gafford cant do it all.
