Gotta say it but Schroeder really has to chill with his idiotic shots and passing decisions, needs to get his ego checked. Dude pulled out of a 3 on 2 with Scottie and Pascal with clear passing lanes to get his own offence. The best two players aka Pascal and Scottie needs the ball not Dennis.
Two takeaways from this game: 1. Pascal carried us in a game we had no business winning with how atrociously we played for most of the quarters. Scottie is our future for sure, but Pascal is still our main guy when the situation is bad and we definitely need a win. I still want to believe that we can find a way to get Barnes and Siakam to synergize together. 2. The Wizards sold hard at the end more than Raps turning it up at the end. Jordan Poole really showed everyone that the Wizards are his team, and what the consequences of that being the case is. I can only pity their team and fans at this point.
I'm hoping the Raptors can turn things around going forward. We were missing guys like OG and that definitely hurts, but we need to be able to be more competitive even with OG out. We cannot be constantly shitting the bed and then playing catchup for the rest of the game. Certain bench players have been looking great for us recently, and certain others loosing their luster.
And all the Raps fans who complain that the league wants us to lose and the refs have it out for us sure are quiet when the refs definitely were bad, in OUR favour.
