[Slater] Chet Holmgren is averaging 16.4 points on 55/50/90 splits through 10 games: “Getting 30 points on 35 shots doesn’t make you a great scorer. I try to make my looks count. The more efficient you are, the better chance you have to win a basketball game.”

OKC is the scariest youth movement in the league.

kobe was the least efficient scorer of all time

    extremely overrated

    also colorado

I thought the media was driving the wemby vs chet things, cant tell if theres real animosity or just competitiveness.

As long as he’s not passing up shots due to efficiency concerns lol. Would like to see this man be aggressive. But I like his mentality! Only need 17 shots to impact the game

Chet is having a better “rookie” season than Wemby. Crazy how the rankings seem to have Wemby over him when Chet has the better impact numbers, efficiency and defensive numbers.

  7. I fuck with all they young players 😂 they got a squad forsure probably my 2nd favorite team. I wonder if they decide to trade for a star who would they go for .

Steve Nash played like that and he often says he should have taken more shots. When he did increase his volume his efficiency didn’t really take a big hit, which may not be the case for Chet.

Ahhh he’s also from the KD School of Efficiency

He’s already one of the best big men shooters in the league even with lower volume. You can tell with more shots he would still have high percentages

  11. Sure, but efficiency has limited impact without volume. There are a lot of guys shooting 40%+ from three on 2-3 wide open shots per game. Its way more difficult and valuable to do that on 7-9 shots per game even when there is a hand in your face.

Also, yes, there are a few high volume low efficiency guys out there who really need to stop jacking up so many shots.

  12. Ben Simmons with the pickachu face at all the people praising this comment.

I think he still should be looking at trying to score around 20-22ppg, even if it cuts into his efficiency a bit. Would be good as the second option on that offense.

  14. 55/50/90 is nothing to shit on though, rookie season too.

Oh man. That’s good stuff. Winning basketball mentality. Hope he can stay healthy
