Luka Playing off the ball is the best formula for the Mavs to win. I’ll explain why.

If my comment populated twice, my apologies
its a positionless league. Seriously one play? Luka is the point guard.
They needed run A 2 man game with Kyrie & Luka
Lol 😂😂😂😂
How you gonna complain about their offense when it's #1 in the league? 😂 Also Luka has increased his pace this season as well. And Luka is much better as a PG than Kyrie… How they're doing it now is working really good, no need to fix what isn't broken.
Make your own narrative and stop falling into the media bullshit and false stories about luka… god ya all seem so fake!!!
Man these are speculation. Actually, Christian Wood was not attending video sessions bec he feels he should be a starter. And Javale wants to post up a lot. Luka wants a traditional defensive C that he can play pnr with and wants a faster pace but has no personnel to do that with. So
when Ky came, it became closer to fruition. However they don't have that chemistry last year, bec Ky came too late and Mavs FO wanted to tank to keep the 10th pick. This year, in Dubai, Luka and Ky were hanging out a lot and talking how to share the ball and play fast. We are seeing that chemistry building coming to full effect so far this season. If this continues, they are actually unstoppable. It's not Luka, it always has been the personnel around him. This guy brought a team of bench players with Brunson (who only became good that year) to the WCF. KP was injury prone, last year's team were G Leaguers. This is the best team he's ever had and he will do a lot of damage with this team. And Ky and Luka talked about sharing PG duties so he is still a PG.
I know you believe they cant win this way but they are showing that they can.
Is Kyire better than Luka?
Dallas is the new Lebron and Kyrie Cavaliers with a better upgrade of complimentary players who can drop 30,Luka is another version of Lebron minus the athleticism he controls the tempo of games and Kyrie just does Kyrie things this team can win it all the way they're handing teams L's they don't need to change anything bro they're killing people🤷🏾♂️
Ma dude… what you talking about… You are like talking about last season
i appreciate your takes or thoughts but thj doesn’t start… jones jr starts … hardaway will. prolly win 6moy
I agree with you. James Harden type of basketball does not win championships. Luka playing PG 35+ minutes a game isn't sustainable. Teams will just wear down Luka and make rest of team try to score. I think Luka should trust his team more and create off-ball opportunities for himself and his teammates. Luka can still get his points, rebounds, and hockey assists as a small forward.
💯👌
I totally agree!
Kyrie makes sure the role players touch the ball. The man movement and ball movement is very important when attacking a defense. When teammates touch the ball, they feel more involved in the game. They are more likely to hustle, rebound and play harder on defense.
What a great breakdown! 100% agree that Ky should be the initiator while Luka can play his true position. Just how Jokic plays today. Luka's vision down at his position when Ky brings up the ball just adds so much more pressure on the defense than Luka having the ball all the time. Great video man… Keep it up!
Still can't see it tho. Can't win a title with 2 players playing no defence.
I agree, less usage for Luka allows him to put more effort on D. I like it when they have the ability to switch styles on a dime. Lukas a brilliant half court offense by himself, that’s what you need in the clutch and playoff situations. That being said, wood was mad about his role, he loved starting with Luka and had his best numbers and success doing it. Javalee was benched a week in, both were and are made at Kidd, I enjoy all the local nba content and it’s well known Wood has been talking about Kidd for essentially benching him after he did well as a starter.
