while it’s never easy to take both games in these regular season sets of games, we played our worst tonight- no one shot well, sloppy plays, etc. lots of things to learn from. at least we get it out of our system early, and our starters get some rest for washington tomorrow…

Worst game I’ve ever seen Luka play. And it comes so soon after one of the best games I’ve ever seen him play! Hmm . . .
Luka had plenty of company, though. Josh didn’t seize the opportunity that he had to put his mark on a “Luka-less” game, and Hardy didn’t look much better.
Hopefully, this was a Bourbon Street aberration for all concerned.

So, i ended up missing this game, can someone inform me why this game went so horribly? I’m seeing some say Luka and mentions of horrible turnovers.

Embarrassing effort and now we’re out of the in-season tournament. also, when are questions gonna be asked abt sean sweeney? we look so badly coached on defense. bad scheme, missed rotations, awful PnR defense. Guys getting to spots way too easily. shit is embarrassing
Worst Mavs game, Luka also, defense nonexistent, and im concerned about Green, hes bringing nothing on court, undersized man, that cannot shoot, self create, or play good defense, i dont see what this sub see, Exum is alot better player and cheaper.
I Will give him chance more, but im not optimistic.

I can’t defend Luka tn unfortunately. Dude literally gave the game away in the first quarter with all those TOs, and shot like trash the entire game.
And to make matters worse, he wasn’t playing any defense, probably because he was too busy being pissed about how things were going offensively. I mean, how tf does Jonas blow by you from the perimeter lmao?
Just one game though so not gonna overreact too much, but it was brutal to see him playing with no self-awareness.
Seth shouldnt get minutes over Hardy and Exum ever again. The dude is too afraid to shoot the ball unless everything is perfectly aligned for him. It is annoying to watch. Atleast the bright side is Omax got minutes tonight. I thought we could had used him a bit earlier in the game, but it is what it is….
Hard game to watch, especially with that Incredible Hulk ass looking court
They need to give Holmes minutes to see what he’s got before making any trades. He’s out there rebounding and challenging shots at the rim, floater still looks good. If he can competently do those things playing meaningful minutes, that allows them to set their sights on a long sf/pf.
Really low effort game from Luka. They came with energy. Herb Jones played like the dream defensive wing we’ve been praying for.
Horrible game, but 1st real stinker of the season. Denver was a 1st quarter stinker and played well the rest of the way and was against a great team. This one was a stinker from start to finish against a bad team. When your offense doesn’t show up it’s not gonna be a good night with this defense. Not much else to say. Hated it, but I can tolerate a game like this after the start this season. Just better come ready tomorrow.

Thing that sucks about bad Luka games is how much of a baby he is about it. You’re having a bad game, it happens, shut up and keep playing and move on to the next possession.
I’m excited about OMax
I’d love to see Luka up on the 3 point line and engaged in the offense when someone else is initiating, instead of 40 feet away while the offense is 4v5.
