Defense has been vastly improved too .. literally all we need is Trae to wake up ( which he usually do post thanksgiving for whatever reason) and this hawks team can catch fire

A part of me thinks Trae might be waking up soon. It’s not crazy to think Teal being on the way he might’ve been distracted, add that to playing a more physical game (I mean defensively) and him usually not waking up till he adjusts to how teams guard him (usually late November) and the copium in me says December is gonna be a spooky month
If you put the Trae we normally expect with a smarter shot diet (the hero ball is there, but less severe than it was last year) and the scoring punch we’ve gotten from DJ, DHunt (once again, I will eat crow on thinking he doesn’t have that dawg in him), and JJ basically being “John Collins, but *better*” — that’s a dark horse contender for sure

He’s completely bought into Quin’s system.
Move him to SG and move Trae back to PG.
