Now? its impossible as lots of Cs contract filler is ineligible to be traded until after dec 15 and caruso's contract doesnt fit into the TPE.
Should we want Caruso? Only if hes replacing PP. we dont need another guard. We need a big.
After Dec 15, can we make the trade work? Yes as long as we take some depth players from chicago into our TPE (which consumes that asset). And i'm sure CHI will demand picks. Here's a sample trade idea:
BOS gets:
caruso
Drummond (into grant TPE)
Craig (into grant TPE)
Julian Phillips (into jackson TPE)
CHI gets:
2024 1st RD pick via BOS
2024 2nd RD pick via CHI (originally theirs)

Can replace any of the non-PP pieces with Lamar if the bulls want him but that pushes the deal to after christmas as Lamar cant be traded before that.
The Cs has a $6+M player exemption that they can use to sign a player or trade for a player that they can package with Pritchard to get Caruso. If the Cs do intend to go afyer Caruso instead of using it to get a backup big, then that's the way they can do it.

Caruso would be an insane addition. Not sure how it would happen but that’s a dynasty right there. Just too many high level basketball minds on one team to lose a 7 game series

To get Caruso would take two or maybe even three other teams to jump through hoops. As John mentions it would be a stretch. And this is all a huge “if”. Caruso hasn’t been put on the block as of right now.🤷🏻♂️
I want to put this out there, before they traded for Jrue, I was working my way to a trade for Caruso at the Deadline. However, defensive minded PG, is superfluous to our needs
