[Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources: The NBA is looking further into the Warriors-Timberwolves scuffle, including Draymond Green headlock on Rudy Gobert. Warriors play OKC on Thursday, so review on Green’s part — including video and interviews — expected to be completed for a ruling prior to that game.

Jokic pushed Morris from the back and actually injured him, only got 1 game. Draymond might got a bit more than that, but no more than 5 games I think

  2. untouchable765

No punches thrown. /r/nba gonna be disappointed when they expect him to receive life in jail for this.

  3. commonground3

Are they going to review Gober head lock on Klay?

  4. smokey2916

Love Draymond but he either did or could have choked another player on the court. Whether Gobert deserves punishment for grabbing Klay is a different issue. The NBA doesn’t follow Hammurabi’s code and an eye for an eye a neck for a neck ain’t gonna save Dray from whatever punishment is coming, especially since he has a rep for this shit.

  5. Draymond is def going to get suspended for a few games but my god that was hilarious😭

  6. Unfair-Worker929

McDaniels started it and then Gobert escalated it when Draymond was just trying to get McDaniels off Klay. I don’t justify what Draymond did but understand why he did it.

Dillon Brooks clobbered a guy up in the air whose back was turned and the guy he hit ended up breaking his elbow…

    Brooks was suspended 1 game.

I suspect Draymond gets at least 25.

Rudy Gobert is really trying to act like the victim on r/NBA. What a joke…

Dray cost us a chip last year throwing off team chemistry cause of the Poole punch. Dray cost us a chip in 2016 cause he got suspended in the finals. Every year Dray cost us a few games getting ejected with his shenanigans. And every time he opens his mouth its just excuses about how he is who he is. Being an asshole isn’t a character trait, it’s a character flaw. And he’s not willing to work on it.

At what point are we going to maybe realize he’s not contributing to our winning culture as much as we think he is. Enabling him is just costing us more wins and chips. He needs to be suspended and if that’s not enough of a wake up call for him then I don’t see why we would pay him after his contract expires at the end of the year.

We already know he’s getting at least a 3-game suspension

I suspect Draymond is gonna get suspended for at least 3 games. From his angle probably thought Gobert was head locking Klay, but his refusal to stop was the biggest issue

  12. “He’s grabbing me, he’s grabbing me, he’s grabbing me,” Gobert recalled. “(But) the choke wasn’t good enough. Yeah, it wasn’t enough for me to really have to (go to sleep). But he tried. He tried really hard, but it wasn’t good enough to where I felt like I was really in danger of falling asleep or something like that.”

    – Rudy Gobert guys

The attempted murder trial is going to be wild.

  14. Jicama-Smart

based on nab precedent it should be 1 game. Because Draymond is a repeat offender they are going to give him 3.

  15. Who_knows-_-

It is so sad how people can’t deal with how good the warriors have been that at /r nba you can’t say anything good about the warriors without getting downvoted to hell. Man the warriors live rent free in all their heads. They know we have a strong chance at taking it all again ans they are trying to wish our downfall into existence…..sad

  16. Ok_Mountain_4638

Nba is rigged for ratings if dray gets suspended. Dray is a known good teammate so I’m sure the warriors appreciate all he’s done.

  17. Draymond “I don’t just hit people” Green, everyone.

Love dray, but anyone thinking the league won’t come down on a repeat offender is living in another reality

  18. DontSayNoToPills

Green needs to stop playing his “brand” of basketball

  19. RealPineapple7

I just don’t understand how you guys can defend draymond here

  20. ihaveaquestionormany

It’s not about player safety at all, it’s about policing the actions of ‘thugs’

  21. crankyexpress

Klay should not have been tossed – nba has it out for Drey – ok for Rudy G to physically touch Klay

  22. MajesticTop8223

I hope they give him multiple games for the sole reason that it sends the team into overdrive mode hard enough that Klay reshapes into Toast Bro

  23. love or hate him – draymond is always going to stick up for this dudes even in the wrong ways loll

  24. RedDendrophile

Why do they continue to hate Draymond when other players have done worse? I definitely think he needs to chill out, but still.

I’m surprised Dillon Brooks hasn’t actually killed someone. If GP2 had landed on his neck, he could’ve actually died.

Marcus Smart has an affinity to go after Steph’s ankle during games.

Sabonis is a lot dirtier than people are willing to admit.

Ja should’ve been expelled for his BS. And I don’t say that just because I think he’s arrogant.

But that’s not what they talk about.

They talk about how evil Draymond is. And yeah, he reacts very strongly to a lot of things he probably shouldn’t worry so much about.

Other subreddits talk about how Draymond should be expelled when they have players on their team who do the same things.

    I just don’t get it.
