[Katz] A source of optimism for the 5-5 Knicks: 4th in defense 14th in offense. They play 2 main lineups when healthy. Starting lineup is +17.9 points per 100 possession. Bench lineup is +7.2 points per 100. Dig into this and they’re doing just fine.

These are the numbers of a very good team. It is very respectable to go 5-5 with two back-to-backs, two games against the Celtics, two games against the Cavs, a game against the Bucks, and a game against the Clippers—all in the first ten games of the season. This is on top of RJ missing three games (where we went 0-3).
Realistically, we could have won maybe one more game out of this stretch. Got to keep beating the teams we should and holding our own against the top of the league.
We’re a 50 win team. On track.
Played well through a tough 10 game schedule, even with the shooting woes.
“When healthy” is probably the biggest worry with this team. They don’t play well when they have to substitute anyone into a different place in the rotation.
These are 5th/6th seed stats, which is just fine with me.
I’m pleasantly surprised we got our offense up to 14. If we can at least maintain this level of overall play on both ends, we’ll be fine
And we still have fans talking if we should trade for Mitchell/Lavine/Booker. Stfu already man.
top 5 side of the ball + top 15 side of the ball is a formula for being a great team
A source of optimism? We are 5-5 not 1-9. Sounds dumb af.
Amazing how we can jump on offense after winning a few games.
We will be just fine, sadly not a top 3 team in the east, but we are definitely in the 5ish area
