Ayo Dosunmu Game Log | StatMuse

I think Ayo would be great in the starting 2-guard role and also be very attainable – he’s really a combo that has had significant time at the 1 and can guard 1s&2s well. He could fit into either defensive system (either the drop or blitz/trap) we run and help be a cultural for, as well.
He’s been getting Caruso’s minutes while he’s been out instead of Jevon Carter, and had been playing better.

I loved him as a rookie, but the Bulls have been terrible at development over the years and he’s a victim of inconsistency and bad coaching.

What do y’all think?

I wouldn’t mind getting him the problem would be want to give up that Chicago would actually value. If they are going full rebuild they want younger guys or picks . Bucks don’t have many of either

Not getting Ayo, he’s the Bulls best player under 25. But beyond that, he’s from Chicago, went to a state school, then drafted to the local team. He was doing community outreach his rookie year, and is currently helping build local schools. Fans have embraced him, and he’s 100% bought into the franchise. If the Bulls give up Ayo then their truly “developmentally disabled” he should be one of the few players they value keeping going into a rebuild

  3. I think he’s one they will try to develop. Hometown kid, has good chemistry with PWill, their only other young guy.

Not from the bulls; but if we’re really desperate for a stopper by the deadline, I think GP2 might be available from the Warriors as they seem to be getting increased minutes for their young wings.
