I still can’t believe Mazzulla actually put that lineup on the floor in a real NBA game

I was def concerned after taking stock of who we had on the court 😅

Any coach can lean on his seven best players during the regular season. I’m really happy Joe seems to be one of the few who can find extended lineups he feels confident with that work.
It’s an underrated skill for a coach

League not ready for this hellish lineup.

very curious how many minutes that lineup was out there for.

We really fucked Philly up, huh.

I’m still curious why Lamar Stevens hasn’t seen the floor. Surely playing 15mins a night for 60+ games for the cavs last year means he can come off our bench.

I really hate using single game offensive/defensive/net rating stats.
When it’s just one game I’d way rather just see the actual minutes, total points for, and total points against.
Those ratings sound awesome, but it’s extrapolation out to 100 possessions – if they were only out there for 5 minutes this basically means they went on a 6-2 run.

Then at one point he just swapped out Holiday with White and ran the same lineup. Hilarious, unhinged, and exactly what the regular season should be used for

Yeah we had a lot of one starter lineups on the floor last night. It’s nice when you’re missing 2 stars and you still have guys like Tatum, Holiday, and White who can fill in as a first option

If you really think about it, it kinda makes sense.
Every one of those guys are quick/long/strong (or a combination of those attributes)for their size, switchable and can send double teams/help.

Almost a shame that we play again so soon. There’s so many tidbits from this game to feast on.
