Love how Lively has been playing so far! Words can’t express how much I want this team to get a premier backup big man. They would be sooooooo much better imo

To be honest… the ORB% part suprised me the most… the rest is pretty explainable. Cause interestingly enough Lively has more or less the same ORB% then Powell (both around 12.5%). So maybe the other players get more (better opportunities) with him out there? Or the view minutes Maxi played had such a bad impact? Cant be Holmes and his small sample size, cause he even has a way better ORB% then Powell/Lively. Strange stat… strange strange stat.
Either way, he is already way better then I even dreamed, less alone expected. I dont think I ever saw a 19 years old center rookie having such an impact on a winning team. Getting stats on tanking teams, for sure, but not on a team that actually tryes to compete for a championship. And I watch the NBA for over 20 years now!

I looked up the 3 man stats with Luka/Kyrie/Lively… and is seems like Kyrie is the neg factor on defense… or even Luka the pos one?
Luka without Kyrie/Lively has a team DRtg of 114.6
Luka with Kyrie and without Lively has a team DRtg of 127.6
Luka with Lively and without Kyrie has a team DRtg of 113.9
Kyrie without Luka/Lively has a team DRtg of 118.8
Kyrie and Lively without Luka has a team DRtg of 128
The sample size overall is way to small to make any real conclusion. But right now it looks like the rotations with Kyrie are overall worse. Maybe cause Lively/Luka are our best defensive Rebounders and we need both? No clue. Still very interesting, even if the sample size of 120 minutes at best (27 minutes is the smallest) dont tell anything that has a real meaning.
