The GP2 injury was so damn stupid. He missed a bit of a bunny when ensuring he got the whistle after getting Chet in the air, missed it, then angrily grabbed the miss to correct the mistake knowing the play was already whistled, and obliterated his ankle coming down. Completely self-inflicted.
What’s worse? The Warriors neglected to foul or call timeout as he’s limping up and down the court signaling to the bench that he needs to be subbed. I counted 6-possessions, before the ball went out of bounds, and he limped straight back to the locker room. It was early in the second quarter, Kerr had plenty of timeouts, only two team fouls, but the team continued to play 4 on 5. I’m still questioning if that actually happened.
What about Wiggins???? People refuse to give him credit for how bad he is playing.
This team is desperately in need of a guy like Jordan Poole who can play like a star when Steph is out.
