  1. adelphotes

    On track for 73-9

Glad the team showed up tonight, Mamu the GOAT

    Go spurs go!

  2. whynotletitfly6

These are the losses that are easier to stomach, stayed competitive, fought through, guys get close game experience

  3. BoneDollars

Love how the team performed compared to previous games

  4. MikeyBastard1

THIS is how i want to be watching these games. I expect a loss, but i want to see potential. I saw a lot of that tonight. A good amount of “bad” but no where NEAR the embarrassment of the OKC game. I’d call tonight a success, all things considered.

  5. WorldClassDBag

Pretty competitive loss without our 2nd and 4th best players, small victory

  6. At least we didn’t lose by __ this time. Mamu needs more minutes after his hustle today.

  7. Call me a salty bitch but the refs were absolutely the difference maker in that 4th quarter. Just awful officiating calls and non calls

Good game by our guys hope we still have some juice in the tank for manana

  8. Timduncanthealrighty

Damn refs had money on the kings. But at least we kept it competitive

  9. DriveForFive219

Man fox is so good. Our guys played a full game regardless. Showing flashes of how good we WILL be

  10. Dylancoolasbeans

Sabonis paid the refs or something. So many missed fouls on that douchebag.

  11. I think it’s time to be honest and say that Wemby’s shot selection is suspect. It doesn’t always have to be a shot. It could be a pass.

Sochan doesn’t have the energy to guard and play point, he should be Bowen 2.0 instead. I would rather have KJ run point as he’s more of a triple threat. Collins has his best moments without Wemby because they favor the same spaces.

Mamu is an interesting front-court partner for either of the bigs.

This is a game that ended up with a few bad calls.

This is what I expected this season – not in terms of the individual performances, but in terms of the team effort and outcome. Much more encouraging game.

  13. eljuanbobo

    It’s not losing…. It’s gaining experience…

  14. Nightmist82

i’m not mad about this loss, fox is a killer and they’re clearly more experienced than us but we competed, that’s all i ask for this season.

  15. Doc saying Wemba-Yamba had me triggered throughput the game.., whats so difficult about pronouncing Wembanyama.. more than Ls, this will be infuriating as we go deeper in season

  16. Sweg_Coyote

This team can play without Wemby…. It’s a nice improvement.
Now if wemby could sink those three…. It’s a win

  17. Awkward_Toe_5501

Mamu easily a Spur favorite. Decent loss. Not too mad tonight other than still seeing point sochan.

  18. I thInk it’s good for a 3-9 team not being blown by 30 this time, call it a moral victory.

  19. Wemby being -31 is why I don’t put a ton of stock in individual +/-

  20. Alphadestrious

Wemby needs to work with TD on that post game

  21. Rickster2493

Bummed that Collins was only a basket away from his Career high. I wanted that for him so bad.

    1. I thought that Doc Rivers was on to something when he called out Wemby rushing his shots. It seems that when he takes his time he has more success. He obviously has size on everyone, so no need to rush.

    2. Zach Collins really took advantage of the matchup with Sabonis. He was able to play more bully ball and I want to see more of this in the future.

    3. Mamu needs to play. I loved his energy on offense and defense. I also noticed strong ball movement when he was in with Osman. They seemed to play well together.

    4. I really enjoyed Coach Pop’s sideline interview tonight. I thought he provided some very good insight into his coaching of such a young team. Specifically, he said something along the lines of, “I’ve got to balance going easy on them because they are young, with giving hard coaching on things they should be capable of doing.”

    5. The world isn’t on fire. The Spurs have had multiple good showings this season. They need to find consistency and confidence. I bet they have a streak of +3 or 4 wins at some point this season.

    GSG!
