David Locke and Ron Boone breakdown the Utah Jazz loss to the Phoenix Suns in a stirring game that included 150 first half points. It was a continuation of the Utah Jazz improvement over the last few games. Jordan Clarkson had 37 points for the Utah Jazz

Bookers 15 assists were every time JC or sexton got switched to him and we immediately had to double and leave a 3 wide open. Credit the suns for hitting so many comfortable catch and shoot threes off of exploitable defenders. JC scored 38 on mostly bad shots, the threes his defense gave up was probably 25-30 and booker got his 25.
Lauris lack of total shots in my opinion is a mix of his massive addition to defensive responsibilities mixed with the fall on the tailbone and more extensive game planning against him
Laurie should have 21 shots minimum. Last several games he's hovering around 15. He's 21 points on 12 attempts. He's so efficient.
You keep talking about how Jazz look so much better lately but the only win they've got was vs the worste team in the league. One thing Jazz need to do is get Lauri more shits but also have to put more effort on defense. I like Keyonte too but you're hyping him far too much basically every video now. I would like to see THT and Keyonte on the floor for extended periods of time to see what happens…it's worth trying since Jazz aren't going anywhere anyway
Lauri facts: Lauri had about one pass from Jordan and two from keyonte during all night. If the guards don't pass him it's hard to score. David and Ron:how can you create by your self if you don't get the ball?On the high level you can't win games without letting the ball go around.
We played well. There was literally nothing we could have done. Ochai guarded that last 3 as well as a human could. He elevates at the exact same time.
There’s just no reason why Markkanen isn’t getting more touches. It’s great that Clarkson is having a turnaround but how is Lauri going to “self create” if he never touches the ball.
4 MVP votes for him in the last 4 games… 31pts avg in the last 4 games with 5ast, 0 TO in this game.
Does this answer David Locke's question there's no #2 guy in the Jazz and who it should be ?
Lauri is playing a totally different role without Kessler in the line up.
He is sacrificing elements of his game to fill the void in the middle.
Get Mike Conley to feed Lauri.
