  1. Oh great. This sub gonna be insufferable until the next game.

Great effort by the guys tonight really proud of everyone

  2. asapshrank

Disappointing but going into this I expected us to get blown the fuck out considering we’re missing everyone. Really loved the energy out there tonight.

Must say though I am still in murky waters with Willie Green’s decision making. KAT had 5 fouls for the last several minutes of this game and we barely attacked him if at all, and then Willie also pulled Jonas for the last possession. Don’t understand either of those moves.

Still though, beat the Nuggets yesterday and just barely lose to the Wolves today, those are the 1 and 2 in the west so far this season. Can’t be mad at all, very excited for the future of this season

Tough loss. Good game tho. BI made some bad decisions down the stretch and just couldn’t get a bucket. McDaniels played excellent defense.

Edit: we faced one of the best teams in the NBA right now, who are completely healthy, without Zion, CJ, Trey, and Jose. That’s really encouraging imo.

  4. Ok-Pomelo546

All BI had to do was make one FT. He has to work on those. I’m so sick of losing to nonsensical garbage like this.

  5. Brutal. Solid effort missing Zion and obviously Trey, CJ, and Jose. Wish we could have closed that out but Ill take 2-1 vs the top 3 in the west.

  6. poorwhitecash

I have never been so confident after a loss. This team is good. We had no business winning that game with the roster we had. GO BIRDS! on to the next one

  7. onelove101

Y’all might call me crazy but I feel like BI has regressed in some ways. It seems like it’s been harder recently for him to get what he wants.

  8. Really had Dyson guarding KAT on a game winning shot.

I’m sick of Willie terrible end of game rotations.

  9. Simple_Danny

Tough loss against a really good team on the second night of a B2B. But this team is looking better and the future looks brighter.

  10. Gamez6444

Heartbreaking loss. The only real issue I had was Willie not having Jonas in at the end to defend against Kat. They did well until the 4th.

  11. Thought BI was gonna can that. Damn, oh well. Tough loss

  12. WelbeckStoleMyHeart

Good look at the end gotta live with the result, but should have made both FT

    could have won this game

  13. Ureallyworemasks

Once again the failure to adjust or even prepare for an opposing team to do something like trap brandon ingram into back to back turnovers. I dont want to sah we arent prepared but we sure werent prepared for that… good game though. Learning pains

  14. Julep2005

All of our recent losses just feel like willie is at fault. There aren’t many teams worst than the pels at holding leads. Tonight wasn’t even close to an effort problem. Just weird rotations, weird choices like not having Jonas in at the end or to even try forcing KAT to foul out at any point. Just bad coaching at worst and decent at best. Boys played hard and it’s onto the next one.

  15. This game on BI fr

You can’t play THAT BAD in the 4th (nothing but bricks n TOs), miss the FT AND the game winner and it be on anyone else. Bro is my fav player but that shit was unacceptable

  16. Putting Dyson on KAT was the killer. Willie coming up short again

  17. Hard one to take, we hit our free throws all night until it actually mattered in crunch time. Onto the next one.

  18. Ja___av93

Losing to one of the top teams in the west by 1 point missing Zion is nothing to be mad about

  19. Ok-Pomelo546

Why did Willie not go with size to guard Towns at the end? What is he smoking?

  20. PlatypusFabulous2999

As a wolves fan, you guys have a top 5 team in the west. Playing that well with two of your stars out on a back to back! Looking forward to seeing yall in the playoffs

  21. SpaceAfricanJesus

KAT had 29 points on 100%TS. You can call him what you want but he was on fire tonight. Should’ve attacked him more when he got his 5th foul though.

Not a bad game overall imo. Liked what I’m continuing to see from Dyson, Hawkins, and Herb (minus the fouls).

  22. Casual wolves fan here to say great game. Also I was watching the Pels stream and really appreciate your game callers, they are so positive and seem like genuinely good guys

  23. BaronsDad

Sometimes, it’s a game of mere inches. This was a good game all considering. Our young guys need playoff-intensity minutes. It’ll look better once Trey and Jose are back.

  24. BatmanHive

Great effort overall, just a bad stretch by BI in the end with the turnovers but understandable with two other ball handlers out. Have no idea why Willie went small in the end on defense, was a bad decision.

But overall proud of the team to compete all the way against a healthy Wolves.

  25. _lonelypenguin_

I’m so much more confident in this team with borrego at the helm

  26. ChocolateTemporary72

Losing sucks but it’s not like the other losses. There was effort, not a lot of stupid mistakes, hard fought. Can’t win em all, on to the next but keep up the intensity.

  27. FlockedDown

Looking like another play-in tournament through the beginning of the year and that’s disappointing. Blame it on injuries again, but the fact that we are always in this position is so disappointing

  28. Listening to Willie after a loss makes me want to kms

  29. GatorEggs-

I liked what I saw from the players tonight. But I’m really tired of questioning whether Willie Green knows what he’s doing, the ATO plays were awful and the rotations again had me scratching my head. Not adjusting to the zone and attacking Kat with 5 fouls is really bad. Taking Jonas out at the end for the KAT game winner is inexcusable. It’s early in the season and we are missing bodies so I’m not gonna act like the sky is falling but it’s annoying seeing games lost on coaching blunders.

  30. World-Nomad

Do you ever think Zion looks at a player like Edwards, and says to himself that is what I was supposed to be?

  31. The rotation did not make sense. Why was JRE on the court for the last few plays on D. Why Zeller played so much during the first half and then he dis not see the court at all

  32. Unless something changes. This team will never go deep with Willie’s end of game management. It’s so dreadful.

  33. Impressive-Theory-27

I really am starting to think borrego needs to be the head coach, willie isn’t the reason for the defence that’s on Jared Collins, so all he gotta do is game manage and not fuck with the rotations, but yet again we see a bone-headed mistake like taking jonas out against Kat or not adjusting to a zone or not adjusting when dyson turned the ball over twice, or going small when Rudy was in, as much as we blame Brandon who had 30 and 7 against the best defence in the league, the areas we keep losing because of are all fixable by a good coach (hence why when we played zone they manage to shoot out of it)

Edit: also side note this not a go at Zion more the medical/FO staff, if you’re that worried that Zion is gonna injure himself on a back to back 12 games into the season or think his body needs rest that soon, what are we doing here? That’s not sustainable over an 82 game season, there’s gonna be back to backs against tough opponents like this that we’re gonna need him for

  34. CanalVillainy

Another 4th quarter collapse. This is almost an every game experience. Get this straight Willie or get going
