Tough 4th quarter defensively and it was made just that much harder by the soft whistle that prevented basically any type of physicality

Alright the was good. But there were bad defensive lapses throughout the game. Grant missing those threes were helpful but still it was good shots and he didn’t hit them.
Luka and kyrie were amazing , most frustrated I saw Luka and kyrie tonight and rightfully so.
Flush this game and move on but you should be happy that you were contending with a team that is trying to win a championship.
Obviously Luka has to make his free throws but still a good game overall
I thought we played well offensively, just couldn’t get the stops on Dame and Giannis. What can you do.
Well, this was a tough game. Positives to note is we out rebounded the Bucks by 9 and match them in the paint scoring wise. The turnovers killed us, and the free throw differential was also a factor, 20 attempts to our 10. The defense fell apart at the end, so that was hard to watch. The Bucks is a great team so not too annoyed about the loss but man i would’ve loved for us to take this one on the road.
When other role players can’t buy a bucket, what’s the harm in giving Hardy some minutes?
Damn conceding 43 pts in the 4th. You can’t win like that. We went cold and Pat Caughnoton killed us from 3 . We wasted a fantastic game from Kyrie. No role player stepped up tonight other than Timmy.
Well we went toe to toe with Giannis and Dame + the refs and Kyrie looks like he’s warmed up for the rest of the season.
Hopefully the team keeps on improving and meshing. Exum should be getting more minutes he’s looking better than our other 2 bench guards.

Josh Green being absolutely unplayable right now is a problem. It‘s not just his offense, his defense is also very bad. No way Exum should get 9 minutes less than Green.

Luka missing like 3 shitty long contested mid ranges in a row with 0 ball movement then the refs putting the Bucks on the line 3 times in a row on ticky tack fouls changed the whole mometum of this game.

We need to play Exum more and replace Dwight with a competent big
Trade Green, Holmes, THJ and the two god damn SRpicks and get us a wing and capela/drummond already, the two parts that cost us every damn game, powell destroying the defense and no wing that could defend random role players cooking us on 3s

Mavs can clearly punch with the best. Kyrie and Luka were awesome. Team looked like they belonged… but 0 from DJJ and 3 from Green is just tough.
Grant obviously missed like 4 wide open 3s in the 4th but he generally had a good game with 14 points going 40% from 3.
DJJ had a stinker but it’s hard to be mad at him because he’s been very solid this year. Josh Green just has to do more. Period.

Anyways mostly positive game. We all know the defense needs to improve. We are aware, but 9-4 is legit and I’m excited about the Kings game tomorrow.
I want Lively to study Brook López on defense. It’s insane how effective he is in the paint by just being in the right position.
