  1. they cant do anything under the rim. powell, jgreen not even 10pts combined, could also feed lively more at the end

  2. And there we go,Bucks completely exposed Mavs, they went big with Lopez,Portis and you have Giannis who never scored easier 40 points he basically lived the rent free in paint. On the other side our only size is rookie who as usual fouled out because of lack of experience, and our best second option is brain dead imbecile Dwight powell, on top of that our starter is DJJ who played 20 min and scored 0 points, the moment our 3pts stop falling in it was the end.

  3. Such a huge lead but the team just tries to keep shooting 3s down the stretch. Kyrie should be attacking the paint and at least be trading points, or others need to work on their midrange and layups. When their 3 point shooting isn’t hot things crumble.

  4. Mavs had this game the whole time they choked 4 quarter how we up 10 and loose the game , grand Williams keep missing hella 3s like if you know your missing go to the paint or pass it cmon and they took lively the 4 quarter is like they wanted to loose cmon mavs do better 😭😭😭

  5. Hardaway should’ve played in the middle of the 4th when the bucks were on a run and then come back out towards the closing stretch. Instead they left him on the bench the entire 4th until the closing stretch where they sent him in with Kyrie and Luka. He got cold after sitting so long and provides absolutely 0 defense. We needed stops in the closing stretch and scoring in the middle 4th. Coaches played this one backwards

  6. What do they need to add to make it to the next level? It’s like they are missing one more piece

  7. We made some stupid shots and sent them to the line too much . But bad calls aside , with a bigger lineup and some more size on this team we could have weathered the storm . This is on the owner and coach for constructing and playing small ball in an era where teams routinely play sf's and pf's 6'9 and up . If your sf and pf cant take it to the rim and yam that thang or stop someone in the paint 1v1 ur not gonna close out a contender . Players like powell , scared to death green , and seth curry are not the answer for this team . Id add tim hardaway to this list in the sense that they need to be very strict with how they use him , u give him too much freedom he will start chucking and blowing fast breaks to bits. Just wait hes streaky but he will dry up . Why cant hardy play or omax ? Why does he make such quick and random subs, players never get used to each other .

  8. Glad to see Luka not sugar coating it, it's the lack of defense. And honestly I thought that Luka was pretty decent on defense in the game.

  9. As a Bucks fan, honestly i don't think Mavs have much to be upset about. Y'all been piling up bodies all season, and your 4 best players all had good-great games last night. Y'all wouldve beat almost every team in the league playing like that, and their record proves it

Maybe another big body could help vs Jokic and AD, but West teams shouldn't even be sweating Giannis or Embiid with how stacked the West is. Just worry about beating Jokic right now

  10. I'm sick and tired of hearing about PACE.

take a look at the top 10 teams, LEAGUE WIDE, In PACE ( Mavericks are # 4 ).

Now look at the bottom 10'teams in pace. Denver is 27th, Boston 25, Raptors 26
Knicks 30, Miami 23, Suns 22. So on and so on.

Could be it is old school thinking but PACE is not the formula for winning it all.

Go look up the NBA champion for the last 10 years. You will 1 year where the team that lead the league in pace won the championship. 2014-2015, Golden State.

    Repeat ONCE.

  11. refs were biast and coach Kidd messed up rotations at the end. THJ should've been the one shooting those 3's instead of Grant and Kyrie should've been left on the court where Luka takes a backup role, drawing attention and serving him easy buckets with faster pace. But beside all that, they simply lost, cause they're still a liability against paint-driven teams with big boys like Lopez or Giannis and there's honestly little they can do to fix that. Powell, Grant, D Jones, Luka or even Lively can't guard a big, strong dude that's going for the rim and it's gonna show even later on. We can bash them all we want for not putting effort and stopping those guys in the paint, but they're literally physically limited to what they can achieve defensively. They're eventually gonna need a big ass cave troll under the rim for them to be able to stop teams like this to win the chip. Maybe trade Powell for Boban and let Holmes slide in the current Powell role instead of aging him like cured meat on the bench. Not much, but it's still an upgrade
