Would be surprising to me if they made this trade. As painful as it is right now, the Spurs seem to be sticking to their current plan. Keldon and Devin, plus some picks are likely parts of any potential trade and as you said that may solve the Sochan experiment by putting him back at the 3. Yet with such a large contract as LavIne comes in with it also handicaps the team and having their level of flexibility with such a young team is a very good thing. Keldon will never be "the guy" but he's definitely a Spurs culture player and had zero TO's last night. If nothing else this will be an interesting few months leading into the trade deadline. btw Loved the Owen Hart reference at the start. Most underrated wrestler imo

I love Zach LaVine but this makes absolutely no sense and would hurt our young player development. Losing games right now doesn’t necessarily hurt us since we’ll most likely be looking for a point guard in next years draft. If Zach didn’t work out it would be catastrophic losing so many draft picks. The Spurs are smarter than that

As painful as this losing stretch is, Lavine is not the answer.

Zach Levine offers nothing that the spurs can't achieve on their own . We just need to ACCEPT that this is a Learning experience. Also our guys need to be ready for a full 48 minutes . Our Spurs play half ass and sometimes look confused . Also I've seen a LOT of LAZY PICK & ROLLS . As someone who plays basketball and frequents the forward position , it's astounding to witness professional players completely blow a novice play . Jeremy and Victor need to learn to use their size and time their picks so it gives space to our shooters .

He's never won, and he hasn't a reputation as a great leader.
We don't need Zach LaVine. We have Devin Vassell who plays his position just as well. It is not like Zach will improve our defense.I can't see the front office being dumb enough to give up assets for an asset we don't need.
